Gift voucher

The gift voucher from re-box is the gift for anyone who's currently renovating, moving house, or has been talking about a dark green wall for months. You give the project, the colour choice stays with the recipient. Digital or as a printed card as well, whichever suits the occasion.

When a colour voucher is the smarter idea

Giving paint directly is tricky. The shade has to suit the room, the light, the furniture and personal taste — and because every colour is mixed individually after ordering, it's excluded from the right of withdrawal. A voucher turns that risk around: the recipient takes their time choosing, tests it beforehand, and then orders. For moving in, for a birthday, or as a joint contribution from several friends towards a first flat, this works better than any well-meant tin of paint.

Digital or printed, and how to get the amount right

• Digital gift card, or digital plus a printed card by post.
• Several vouchers can be combined to reach your chosen amount.
• Redeemable on the entire range: wall paint, lacquer and accessories.

The most common mistake is calculating too tightly. Anyone painting a room needs not just paint but also a roller, dust sheets and tape. Factor the accessories in, or the recipient ends up paying extra after all.

What goes well with it

For the tangible version, choose the card at checkout — it's delivered via the Gutscheinkarte per Post item. As a hands-on extra, the Farbmusterbox 65 Stk is a lovely touch. If you'd rather gift a whole project, take a look at the Renovierungsboxen. And for some reading to get started, there's Küche streichen: Anleitung, Kosten, Farbe.

Frequently asked questions about the gift voucher

Can I gift a custom amount?
Yes, by combining several vouchers until you reach your chosen amount. They're issued together and can be redeemed together.

Does the voucher come digitally or as a card?
Both are possible. You choose between the purely digital gift card and the version with an additional printed card sent by post.

Can it also be used to buy accessories?
The voucher is valid across the entire range, so it also covers rollers, brushes, dust sheets and sample cards. The recipient doesn't have to commit to paint.
