Statutory warranty
Above is the notice with which all traders in the EU point out the statutory warranty — designed by the European Commission, the same everywhere. Here's what it means for you at re-box.
Two years from delivery
For everything you buy from us, the statutory warranty applies: two years from the day the goods arrive with you. It costs nothing extra and applies without registration.
If an item was already faulty at delivery — it doesn't match the description or doesn't work as it should — we stand behind it. If the fault appears within the first year, it's assumed to have been there from the start; you don't have to prove this.
What you can then ask for
- First, a free repair or replacement — which one is generally up to you. We cover the costs for this, including shipping.
- If that doesn't work, you can reduce the price or withdraw from the purchase and get your money back.
How to report a fault
Write to us as soon as possible via the Contact page — with your order number and, if possible, a photo. Your order confirmation or invoice is sufficient as proof of purchase.
Warranty, guarantee, right of withdrawal
- The warranty is your statutory right against us as the seller. It cannot be excluded.
- A guarantee is a voluntary promise, for example from a manufacturer, and applies in addition to — not instead of — the warranty. You can recognise a manufacturer's durability guarantee by the EU GARAN mark.
- The right of withdrawal has nothing to do with faults: for orders placed in the online shop, you can generally withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons. Details and exceptions are set out in the Withdrawal Policy.
